Iconic photo of "The Iron Horse," taken by legendary baseball photographer Charles Conlon, that was used for Gehrig's legendary 1933 Goudey baseball cards.  Among the most popular players to ever walk onto a baseball field, Gehrig is well-regarded for his character, his 2,130 consecutive game streak, his powerful bat, and the tragic disease that bears his name.  Extremely well-centered midgrade specimen, the technical grade reduced by some corner wear and light toning along the bottom edge, certainly within the guidelines of higher-grade cards we have seen.
