Issued just a year after his iconic rookie card, a spectacular portrait image of a smiling Gehrig graces this card, from the 1926-29 Exhibit set.  A favorite among collectors, the set is known for the wide variety of different color tints used on the cards.  One of two poses of Gehrig featured in the issue, this example os graded VG 3 by SGC, displaying only minor corner wear and some age-related discoloration at the edges.  Overall, a very strong example for the grade, a very early card featuring a classic image of the Yankee captain.
