Third baseman Harry Lord as captured by the lens of photographer Charles Conlon at Hilltop Park in NY. This 8" x 10" photo depicts Lord at the prime of his career where he featured for Chicago White Sox squads of 1910-14 before jumping to the Federal league in 1915. Lord was, of course, blacklisted by both the American and National Leagues for doing so. Central image presents quite well with minor wear to the right edge, including a small piece missing. There is a tiny fold to the top right corner. Verso exhibits minor, unobtrusive toning along with Charles Conlon's personal stamp and his handwritten identification of Lord. Photo is fresh to the hobby and originates from the archives of Photo File, Inc. where it has been stored for several decades until this offering. Guaranteed Type 1.
