Gorgeous framed Carl Horner cabinet photograph of the Boston, MA based Burdett College baseball squad c.1894-1902. While we initially listed this photo as "c.1880's" it appears Burdett only fielded teams from 1894-1902. A similar image does appear in the Sporting Section of the Boston Sunday Post from July 21, 1901 and we have included that image in this listing for reference. The presented photo is framed to 15x18 with the central image remaining stunningly sharp. There is some toning to the mount and a bit of wear to the edges of the mounted photo but the piece presents beautifully overall.
