Majestic 17" figural trophy originates from the 1920s, manufactured by Dieges & Clust (the renowned jewelry maker and trophy maker that created the popular set of five Spalding trophies).  This attractive display piece features the same mask that appears on the scalding Catcher, along with a pair of bats, and a baseball perched at the top.  Baseball remains clean and un-dented, a rarity for pieces like this.  The Dieges & Clust placard appears on the trophy base.  Light wear and an attractive patina is evident, overall condition EX to EX+ with no breaks, dents or repairs.
