Clean and colorful 11" x 17" advertising display poster featuring the newly-minted "Home Run King" Roger Maris endorsing Goldmine's Icicle brand of water ice pops. The attractive piece bursts with design elements from the era from the stylized typefaces to the blue and orange/yellow color scheme with the important image of course being that of Maris in his batting stance. The piece displays quite well some light blemishes at the corners and edges the only signs of wear. A very light bit of age-related waviness is evident likely simply fron handling. The piece has been dry mounted to foamcore held in place with shrinkwrap that protects the piece well but prevents us from examining the reverse. Any wear on the reverse is certainly not visible on the front the overall piece displaying as EX/MT.
