Interesting blue felt pennant for the 1950 Boston Red Sox a "team scroll" pennant that includes the names of each of the players in reverse-out typeface within a white "scroll" graphic. This seldom-seen piece exhibits some wear and cracking to the graphics particularly noticable in the scroll within the name "McDermott" as well as in the word "Sox". What appears to be a long-erased pencil scrawl also appears in the "S" in "Sox". Some light staining is more evident on the reverse and although the gold reinforced edge appears original to the piece the stitching has puilled away at the top and bottom leaving about an inch of loose felt at both ends.
