Tremendous Yankee Stadium button-tag press pass issued to A. Dayton of the New York Sun for attendance at the 1927 World Series. The attractive die-cut pass was clearly used with cancellation stamps for Game 3 as well as the deciding Game 4. The pass presents well despite considerable wear and creasing throughout as well as some soiling on the front and reverse. The creasing and edge chipping does break the paper surface in places although the piece does retain significant eye appeal. Encapsulated and authenticated by PSA the pass did entitle Dayton to see two Yankee wins two Babe Ruth home runs and the Yankees clinch their second World Championship. A fantastic artifact.
