Exceptional Forbes Field ticket stub to Game 2 of the 1927 World Series between the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA this ticket admitted the bearer to see the Yankees beat Pittsburgh 6-2 Yankee shortstop Mark Koenig providing three hits and George Pipgras pitching a complete game walking one and scattering seven hits. At this point in the Series despite winning two games the Yankee dominance had not yet asserted itself though the Yankees were the clear favorites. The stub presents well but does exhibit significant edge wear along with some surface wear and visible creasing. A highly-desirable stub from one of the game's most legendary World Series.
