Sportsman's Park ticket stub for Game 5 of the 1928 World Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Yankees. The 1928 Series was of course a four-game sweep for the Yankees their second consecutive World Series sweep so this stub though it appears to have been used is a phantom. VG condition with wear along the top edge the result of which is some visible paper loss on the front and considerably more along the top edge of the reverse. Despite being a phantom a strong stub an excellent memento from the Yankees' third World Series victory.
