The 1934 R310 Butterfinger premiums were oversized photographs printed on unbelievably thin almost newsprint stock and distributed with Butterfinger candy bars. Due to the extreme lightweight paper they are very susceptible to damage of all inds - it is common to find R310s torn wrinkled or with pieces missing and many times due to their large size (7 3/4" x 9 3/4") they are found with folds pinholes and tape. Presented is a high-quality example of Babe Ruth's R310 premium graded EX+ 5.5 by Beckett. A significant achievement one of the finest examples we have seen from the issue quite miraculous to have been preserved in this condition for more than 70 years before having been safely housed in the Beckett holder. A difficult card orders of magnitude more scarce in high grade.
