Outstanding 1915 Zeenut PCL card featuring third baseman Fred McMullin just four years prior to his involvement in the 1919 Black Sox scandal where despite being a reserve player he threatened to report his conspiring teammates unless he was included in the fix. McMullin was banned from organized baseball following the scandal never speaking publicly about his involvement. This attractive and very desirable card has been graded PR 1 by SGC a variety of creases and light stains not detracting from the visual appeal of the card. McMullin batted .279 in 681 at bats for the Los Angeles Angels in 1915 his final season in the minors before making his major league debut with the 1916 White Sox sealing his eventual fate. A very highly sought-after card one of the keys to the issue.
