I have one to sell!
Issued over a 17-year period between 1901 and 1917 these attractive supplements were blank-backed black and whate photos that were included with each issue of the weekly men's magazine. The supplements featured not only baseball players but other athletes actresses models and other subjects appealing to the readers of a men's magazine. The oversized (11 1/4" x 16 1/4") pieces are due to their thin paper and large size very difficult to find in premium condition frequently torn folded heavily creased and with tears to the thin paper. Attractive example featuring Walter Johnson at the conclusion of his sidearm "slingshot" delivery a clear photo of the Big Train with baseball glove on his fielding hand. Some light wear is evident along the top of the photo area as well as some light edge wear and a horizontal fold across the center that appears to exhibit some minor staining. Still a very attractive piece in remarkable condition given its age and size.
