Exceptional team postcard featuring the Tecumseh team 1907 champions of the Southern Michigan League. The team featured two players who would go on to play in the majors - first baseman Jock Somerlott (pictured middle row left) who would go on to play 29 games with the 1910 and 1911 Senators and Fred Merkle who would go on to enjoy a lengthy career and participate in one of the most infamous plays in the game's history. Merkle is pictured in the back row center. Postcard exhibits wear technically FAIR with light staining and filling in of each player's position on the front and postal use to a Duane Taft from his friend Roy on the reverse (the PS reading "I have got a gun.")
