Extraordinary 1912 wooden board game containing all its original graphicsand components. The wooden box is hinged at once side and opens to reveal a colorful playing surface and spinner to decide game action. Two small cardboard boxes contain game pegs team envelopes and player markers. Long ago a youngster wrote position abbreviations on the heads of the game pegs but the playing surface and parts are all present and appear to be in excellent shape. The wooden frame around the playing surface is largely sturdy though one piece has pulled away from the edge (easily repaired we have elected not to nail it back in but to leave it "as is"). Hinges and clasps are fully functioning. An outstanding example of a popular early board game.
