Invitation issued on behalf of the Philadelphia Athletics to Mr. Malcom McLean to attend the Baseball Writer's Association of America dinner at the Astor Hotel in New York City on Decemer 12 1911. The Athletics seal is printed in blue and gold leaf with gold encircling the name of the invitee. Wear is evident with a small tear and some resultant creasing along the right edge and general soiling throughout. Despite this an interesting piece of attractive paper ephemera more than a century old from the BBWAA and the Philadelphia A's.
