The 1975 Topps issue due to the colorful borders and poor Topps quality control is an extremely condition-sensitive set. The cards are often found off-center or miscut sometimes even with pronounced tilts and on the infrequent occasion when the cards are properly centered the colorful borders conspire against collectors by being susceptible to chipping. And don't even get us started on the Topps "Mini" test issue...all the same problems but magnified. Presented here are two complete sets one regular and one mini. The sets were built by a condition-conscious collector who built the sets and consistently upgraded. Still while the cards are mostly sharp centering does become an issue. While the consignor has done a nice job eliminating most of the cards with tilts there are areas where centering is an issue. As a result both sets are in the EX/MT to NM range with some better and a few lesser. The "regular" issue set includes 17 graded cards - 14 by PSA and five by SGC. Several years ago a case of 1975 Topps Minis were discovered and sold at auction resulting in a flood of sets into the hobby. This set was built before that which makes it more of an achievement in our opinion since the cards were less plentiful at that time.
