Trio of Rawlings official American League (Budig) baseballs each of which has been signed and personalized "To Al" (not me) in black sharpie by John Glenn. John Glenn was an american hero a fighter pilot in World War II and Korea who was awarded six Distinguished Flying Crosses and 18 Air Medals. He made the first supersonic transcontinental flight across the United States his plane's onboard camera taking the first continuous panoramic photo of the States. He was one of the Mercury Seven among the nation's first astronauts becoming the first American to orbit the earth and the third American in space. He received the Congressional Space Medal of Honor in 1978 and the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2012. He was elected into the United States senate in 1974 and served until January of 1999. While still a senator he flew on the space shuttle at 77 years old the oldest person to fly in space. He died in 1999 at 95 years old an American hero. Each of the three baseballs present very well dark signatures on clean white surfaces. LOA on each ball from James Spence Authentication.
