Following his selection as Commissioner of Baseball in early 1969 Topps produced a special card for Kuhn's use measuring the same size as Topps baseball cards but printed on very thin stock. The card features a photo of Kuhn superimposed onto an illustration of a crowned ballplayer sitting on top of the world in uniform holding a bat. Kuhn's personal biographical information appears on the reverse. The card itself is scarce. Presented here is an example of the card which has been signed by Kuhn - the first such card we have ever encountered. Kuhn's signature is applied in black ink along the right edge of the card.
