The black sleeves on Hall of Famer Bill Mazeroski's 1962 Topps card must have made it difficult to apply a visible autograph; virtually any space on the card was not conducive to signing. Still he gave it the old college try in this example signing diagonally from bottom up so at least his first name appeared in a visible area on the card.
