Attractive full ticket to the July 8 1980 All-Star game at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. A National League victory the game was known for a few outstanding performances notably Baltimore Orioles pitcher and eventual Cy Young winner Steve Stone who pitched three perfect innings. It was one of the final games played by dominant Astros pitcher J.R. Richard who would suffer from a career-ending stroke just a few weeks later. More importantly perhaps it marked the debut of the Diamond Vision scoreboard and was also the first nationally-televised performance of O Canada which had only been designated Canada's national anthem the prior week. The game's MVP was Ken Griffey. The ticket is in a strong EX to EX/MT condittion with light corner wear being the primary condition flaw.
