Collection of five stubs and one full ticket from one of the most famous of all the minor league ballclubs the Newark Bears. An affililate of the New York Yankees the Bears of the late 1930s were considered one of the greatest minor league teams of all-time. Mistakenly listed as seven stubs in our printed catalog the collection includes just six one of which appears to be a full ticket to an undated Game 13. Of the six tickets none are dated though two have a date of June 25 1936 rubber stamped onto the stub a stamp that may or may not have been applied by the team (the box and seat number are also handwritten onto these two tickets). Of the five stubs four exhibit irregular tears at the perf along with worn corners and edges and considerable surface wear. One of the rubber stamped tickets exhibits a dark discoloration perhaps the result of poor storage. The full ticket presents very well perhaps EX condition.
