Grouping of three letters dated between 1936 and 1959 each signed by a different commissioner of baseball. Included in the collection are the following: 1) 1935 Judge Landis Letter: Written to Frank Navin regarding night baseball and the effect it might have on attendance. Attractive with several staple holes and stray marks though the signature is clean and unblemished. 2) 1946 Happy Chandler Letter: Responding to an autograph request from Jean Smith the letterhead simply reading "Baseball." VG/EX condition with light wear and a few stray marks. 3) 1959 Ford Frick Letter: Written to Dodgers president Walter O'Malley regarding the possibility of expansion as well as the possible beginning of a third major league. VG condition with stray markings throughout mostly notations in red ink. Some light staining as well though signature appears strong. Certifications on each from James Spence Authentication.
