Outstanding Cleveland Indians cap worn by Hall of Fame pitcher Gaylord Perry in either 1973 or 74. Rare style of cap that was only worn in those two seasons Tim McAuliffe brand size 7 1/2" had features a stylized embroidered letter "C" on the face. Perry's uniform number 36 appears inside the brim which Perry has also signed. Leather headband as well as the cap in general is in strong condition with signs of moderate wear. Perry's 1973 and 1974 seasons were among his best - he posted a 19-19 record with a n ERA of 3.38 in 1973 and a 21-13 record with a 2.51 ERA in 1974 finishing in the top 10 in the Cy Young voting both seasons.
