Typically ranked eighth in total scarcity (including the Ty Cobb back) and with just 17 examples of the Lenox Fred Merkle (throwing) card this is a very scarce card. The clipping of the top two corners accounts for the technical grade which would otherwise be at the lower end of the numerical spectrum due to creasing and overall wear. Regardless the Lenox back is quite sought after with condition only a minor factor since the rarity is so great.
