Lot Description  

Exceptional postcard of Hall of Famer Johnny Evers from the Cubs/White Sox issue of 1908. Graded POOR 1 by SGC the technical assessment speaks to postal use (May of 1909) and associated writing along with some pink ink smudges on the surface.THe left edge does exhibit some surface wear as well but the image of Evers remains strong. A seldom-seen card of the Cubs Hall of Famer.
