10" x 8" movie still from the 1959 United Artists motion picture The Wonderful Country. The Western film starred Robert Mitchum and Julie London and features Hall of Fame pitcher Satchel Paige playing the role of Sgt. Tobe Sutton. Well-worn still pictures Paige on horseback leading a team of soldiers. In POOR condition the piece exhibits many creases and surface abrasions a corner clip at the lower-left and a large tear at the upper-left corner that threatens to fall off (and which is so tenuous that we cannot guarantee that the corner won't detach itself in transit to the winning bidder). Despite the wear an interesting memento from the movie career of one of the game's great characters.
