Attractive advertising display sign promoting boxer Gene Tunney's Health Exercises for men and women recordings distributed by Victor Records. Framed to 21 1/4" x 11 1/2" and featuring a photographic image of Tunney. The sign is well-worn with some fading from exposure to light. Several pronounced tears are apparent on the left and bottom edges along with a few small holes at the right and top edges perhaps from long-ago mounting. Regardless in the frame the piece displays extraordinarily well reminding us very much of the Lucky Strike trolley car signs featured elsewhere in the auction. While the frame prevents us from examining the edges and back we expect we would find significant wear. Regardless an outstanding piece.
