Gorgeous cover page to the November 2 1889 issue of Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper a lovely colorized image of fans watching a ballgame at the Polo Grounds between the Brooklyn Bridegrooms and the New York Giants. The best of 11 series was won by the Giants six games to three. The cover has been matted but is unframed an outstanding presentation that masks some wear around the edges. An EX appearance a fantastic 19th Century display.
