Outstanding grouping of four different passes issued to press for the 1953 World Series. Collection includes the following: 1) Yankee Stadium Press Pass: Issued to Gus Steiger of the New York Mirror exhibits some wear and staining around the edges. The pass was used at all three games played at Yankee Stadium as evidenced by the cancellations punched into the pass. Original string still attached. 2) Yankee Stadium Field Pass: VG/EX condition with light edge wear string still attached. Pass did not gain admission to the game it was a field pass only. 3) Yankee Stadium Clubhouse Pass: Clean pass VG/EX condition with original string attached this pass gained the bearer admission to the clubhouse area and is not a pass to the games. 4) Ebbets Field Working Press Pass: Issued to Gus Steiger of the New York Mirror and used at all three games minor wear around the edges with some slight staining and light wrinkles. Original string still attached. Four passes total.
