Fantastic grouping of four button tag press passes to the 1949 World Series each issued for a different purpose. Includes the following: 1) Ebbets Field Working Press Pass: Issued to Gus Steiger of the New York Daily Mirror excellent condition used at all three games based on the "B" cancellations. Original string attached. 2) Ebbets Field Reporter Pass: Issued to WOR a New York radio station. Fair condition creases running horizontally at the thinner area of the pass. Used for all three games based on the "B" cancellation. Original string attached. 3) Yankee Stadium Press Pass: Clean with minor signs of wear. Likely unused perhaps unissued as no recipient is listed in the appropriate space nor has the pass been canceled anywhere. Original string attached. 4) Yankee Stadium Clubhouse Pass: Signs of minor wear this pass gained the bearer admission to the clubhouses at Yankee stadium but not the games themselves (which would require a different pass). Good condition original string attached. The Yankees took the 1949 World Series in five games winning the last three straight at Ebbets Field. Beginning in 1949 the Yankees embarked on a phenomenal stretch of winning taking 14 of 16 AL Pennants. Four tremendous World Series passes from the beginning of the run.
