Simply spectacular high-grade specimen of Hank Aaron's highly-prized rookie card. Well-centered with vivid bright coloration and little edge wear the card is stunning for the grade. 1954 Topps cards are notoriously victim of virtually all the Topps quality control flaws of the era from centering issues to rough cuts roller lines and even registration issues but this example exhibits none of those flaws. In fact very faint corner touches coupled with a very slight nudge to the right are really the only flaws the card exhibits. Since the centering falls within PSA's guidelines for a higher-grade card we can only assume that it is the light corner touches that keep the card from a higher technical grade. However few collectors would question this card if it were in a higher holder - one of the finer NM examples we have seen.
