I have one to sell!
Rare and interesting trade card featuring one of the more desirable teams from the 19th Century. Featuring the identical pose to the very rare Joseph Hall Cabinet this studio photo depicts the entire team including Hall of Famers Dan Brouthers Sam Thompson Deacon White and Ned Hanlon. Referring to the highly desirable cabinet we can also identify Pete Conway Henry Gruber Sy Sutcliffe Jack Rowe Bill Watkins Hardy Richardson Pretzels Getzien Charlie Ganzel Larry Twitchell Lady Baldwin Charlie Bennett and Ed Beatin in the photo. This is a significant piece. The grade of AUTHENTIC assessed by SGC does not at all detract from its importance or desirability though it is important to point out significant creasing and reatinr along the edges along with a large notch of paper loss which has been repaired with tape (this is a modern repair likely responsible for the grade). The reverse advertising Wm. Robinson's Clothing Store which was at the corner of Germantown Ave and Juniata Street in Philadelphia reveals a tear that has also been repaired with clear tape. Despite the condition issues this is an extraordinarily special piece. Joseph Hall Cabinets are extremely rare and often sell well into the five figures on the rare occasions that they become available. An advertising trade card bearing the identical image of the Detroit cabinet is a unique find.
