Exceptional image quality marks this difficult and highly desirable card of Jack Glasscock portrayed with the Indianapolis Hoosiers where he played between 1887 and 1889 before moving to the Giants. The grade of FR 1.5 has been assessed by SGC largely due to the number "24" written in small print at the top of the reverse along with some minor soiling throughout. The card itself - and the image as well - are far stronger than the assigned grade. Another example of how technical grading simply does not reflect the visual appeal of oversized cards and photos.
