I have one to sell!
An extremely rare issue the Yum Yum Tobacco brand was manufactured by the August Beck Company of Chicago. The cards are among the most rare 19th Century issues and are highly coveted by advanced collectors. Their rarity is of such high degree that condition is typically a non-factor among collectors and the player on the card is also typically unimportant as simply acquiring a card in any grade from the set is usually sufficient for most collectors looking to acquire one. Still this example depicts one of the most popular names of 19th Century collecting catcher Silver Flint. A member of the Chicago White Stockings for virtually his entire career Flint died at the young age of 36 of tuberculosis. Graded GOOD 2 by SGC the card's primary condition flaw relates to foxing on the surface along with a small but pronounced stain at the bottom edge. Some staining is also evident on the reverse. The image of Flint is easily visible however in contrast with many other cards from the issue that have been victimized by fading or surface wear. One of just two N403 cards of Silver Flint graded by either company an outstanding specimen from one of the hobby's more rare and highly-prized issues.
