Issued one card per box on the backs of Royal Desserts products between 1950 and 1952 a "basic" set consisting of 24 different cards but including many variations in typography with updates to the player biographies. A "master set" consists of 47 cards. A seven-page spiral-bound album was distributed permitting the insertion of 14 cards after the cards have been trimmed from the box. The cards as well as the binders are particularly scarce for the issue. Presented here are two complete spiral-bound albums complete with a 24-card complete Royal Desserts set. The scarcity of the cards in this case is offset by the unfortunate realty that each of the cards has been trimmed away from the box in an uneven manner many of the trimming encroaching into borders and photos. This set appears to have been collected by a child in the years of issue and based on the method of trimming and storage it appears that this set was completed and stored in its entirety by the child. Despite the aforementioned trimming and wear this is a particularly difficult set with the added appeal of the two albums. 24 cards and two albums in total.
