I have one to sell!
The 1953 Canadian Exhibit issue is an interesting one containing a blend of major and minor league players (the Montreal Royals of the International League) produced in much smaller quantities than the American Exhibit sets and issued only in Canada. Unlike the American Exhibit sets the cards in the Canadian issue were numbered and issued in two series of 32 cards each. The Major League players are made with images reused from past Exhibit cards while the Montreal players feature unique poses. Offered are 42 cards from the issue including many from the tougher Montreal Royals series a host of duplicates and key cards of Hall of Famers Roy Campanella and Walter Alston. Cards grade VG in general with a few better and some lesser. A breakdown of the cards included are as follows: #3 Bearden (2) 20 Campanella (HOF) 26 Elliott 35 Simmons (2) 36 Lembo 39 Moryn 40 Thompson 41 Roebuck (2 purple tint 1 blue tint) 42 Rose 43 Amoros 44 Milliken 45 Fabro(2) 46 Jacobs (1 purple 2 blue) 47 Mauro 48 Fiala (1 purple 1 blue) 49 Nelson 51 Lee (2) 52 Coleman (2) 53 Marchio (1 purple 1 blue) 54 Sampson (2) 55 Mills (1 purple 1 blue) 56 Ronning 59 Vernon 60 Ennis (1 purple 1 blue) 61 Alston (HOF) 62 Sisler 63 Goodman. 42 cards total.
