As is the case with most strip cards that were separated from their counterparts during the time of issue this example of Babe Ruth's W514 card is graded "AUTHENTIC" by PSA as the cut falls within the printed borders on the strip. Youngsters in 1919 were unaware of what PSA's grading standards would be 80 years into the future and thus were more concerned with simply owning the card rather than what numerical grade would be assigned. In this case Ruth's image is well-centered on the card which exhibits very mild corner rounding and a very slight notch of paper loss at the top left edge.
