Another interesting print anomaly a Joe Tinker portrait card that we are accustomed to seeing with a rich red background. This example like the Frank Chance offered elsewhere in this auction appears to be missing the rich red coloration behind the player though pinkish tones can clearly be detected in Tinker's face. While there certainly have been examples of T206 cards where the red print layer was missing from the card we do not believe this to be the case with this example as we can detect reds applied in various areas of the card. Further the orange background of the card must also contain some degree of red in order to make orange. Regardless this is certainly an orange-background Joe Tinker portrait cards the first of its kind we have handled.
