Collection of six press passes from 1940s All-Star games. Collection includes: 1) 1941 All-Star Game Briggs Stadium Detroit: Ted Williams hits a walk-off home run off Claude Passeau. Attractive button-tag pass issued to Ken Smith of the New York Daily Mirror EX condition with some minor soiling original string attached. 2) 1942 All-Star Game Polo Grounds New York: G condition with some wear at the corners and edges. along with some paper loss at the top edge of the reverse. 3) 1946 All-Star Game Fenway Park Boston: Ted Williams homers off Rip Sewell's "eephus pitch." Interesting button tag pass witih original string "No ladies admitted" printed prominently on the pass. F condition with some creasing and wear original string attached. 4) 1947 All-Star Game Wrigley Field Chicago: Button-tag pass issued to Ken Smith of the New York Daily Mirror VG/EX condition with minor staining and wear along with some chipping to the top edge. Original string attached. 5) 1948 All-Star Game Sportsman's Park St. Louis: Button-tag pass issued to Steiger of the New York Daily Mirror VG/EX condition with minor wear original string attached. 6) 1948 All-Star Game Sportsman's Park St. Louis: Clubhouse pass issued to Joe Ruehler of the Associated Press. Fair condition with usage related wear and some dirt on both sides. Six passes total.
