Exceptionally attractive portrait card of Babe Ruth from the popular 1948-49 Leaf baseball set. Graded A by SGC we can only assume a slight trim might be responsible though the card measures properly and appears extremely clean and well-preserved. Ink transfer common to the issue is visible on the card front a flaw with the issue overlooked by many collectors. As clean and sharp an example as we have encountered at the "collector-grade" end of the spectrum simply an outstanding card.
