I have one to sell!
The 1948 Bowman baseball set was one of the first mainstream postwar issues. Consisting of 48 black and white cards each containing biographical information on the reverse the set ushered in the "golden age" of baseball cards and began a brief period of competition between Bowman and Topps. Of the set 12 of the cards are short printed removed from the set to add the second series of 12 cards. This collector-grade grouping contains all 48 cards falling in the lower end of the grade range. A breakdown of condition would find 10% VG/EX 25% VG 35% G and 22% FAIR or lesser. Key cards grade as follows: #3 Kiner G #4 Mize P (likely signed) #5 Feller VG #6 Berra F #8 Rizzuto G #17 Slaughter G #18 Spahn G #36 Musial F and #38 Schoendienst VG/EX. 48 cards total.
