Beautiful 1931 season pass to all American League games as issued to Louis Heilbroner former St. Louis Cardinals manager and publisher of the Baseball Blue Book. Heilbroner was the founder of Heilbroner's Baseball Bureau Service the first statistical bureau dedicated to baseball. The pass enabled him to see all the American League games quite a fantastic season in which the Philadelphia Athletics won 107 games Al Simmons batted .390 Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig tied for the league lead with 46 home runs each Gehrig drove in 184 runs and Lefty Grove won 31 games with a 2.06 ERA. Unfortunately the Athletics were defeated in the World Series by the Cardinals behind MVP Frankie Frisch. The pass boasts outstanding visual appeal despite some minor wear most visible at the top and some mild surface abrasions most noticeable on the right.
