PLEASE NOTE: This package was originally misidentified in our catalog as a 1910-era pack. The Vermont tax stamp affixed to the reverse is clearly dated May 1 1939. Outstanding Murad Turkish cigarette package 2 1/4" x 2 7/8" unopened and like new still wrapped in its original onion skin. The Vermont tax decal on the outside of the package gives us a clue as to its dating. The seal of the external wrapping is still incredibly tight some wear and slight tearing around the pull tab where it appears a collector may have at some point attempted to peel it back slightly to see the date on the tax stamp affixed to the package. Despite this the display qualities of the package are significant the stamping on the outer wrapper bold and vivid the colorfully-printed package clearly visible underneath. A beautiful pack.
