Charlie Wagner signed his first contract with the Boston Red Sox in 1934 and worked for the club until he died as a scout in 2006. More than 70 years with the club Wagner had a longer tenure than any other Red Sox employee. His playing career was cut short by the war though he posted a 12-8 record in 1941 and a 14-11 record in 1942. After returning and finding himself out of practice he accepted a job in the Red Sox farm system from Tom Yawkey and never turned back. Presented here is a symbol of Wagner's loyalty: Lifetime Major League and National League passes along with a lifetime membership to the Association of Professional Ball Players of America. Each of the metal passes has been well-used but still maintains outstanding display qualities. A handsome American League leather wallet is also included; the three passes were consigned to us inside the wallet where they were probably stored by Wagner. Three individual lifetime passes plus a leather American League wallet.
