Handsome trio of official World Series programs during the war years 1941 through 1943. Included are the following: 1) 1941 Official Program: Unscored program in good condition with significant soiling to the cover and wear to the spine and edges. The score pages are worn and stained and there are several creased interior pages but overall the interior pages are much stronger and cleaner than the cover; 2) 1942 World Series Official Program: Scored program for what appears to be the clinching game 5 Cardinals victory over the Yankees. Johnny Beazley dueled Red Ruffing to a 4-2 victory Whitey Kurkowski's ninth inning home run making the difference. Aside from the scoring the program is in VG/EX condition with soiling to the cover but relatively clean interior pages. 3) 1943 Official World Series Program: Scored program that appears to be from the Yankees' 6-2 Game 3 victory. In VG/EX condition with light wear particularly at the corners and spine excellent war-related cover art. Three attractive programs total.
