Clearly intended to be a Christmas tree ornament formed into the shape of a baseball bat measuring 8" long and painted in the style of a 19th Century ring bat. The paint has long begun to wear off the piece leaving a significant amount of clear glass. Soiling and wear is evident though the hanger is still attached as is the metallic wire used to hang the ornament on a tree branch. An exceptional item a baseball-themed Christmas ornament well over a century old.
