Measuring just 1 1/2" high at its smallest point delicate metal pinback depicting a ballplayer in his batting stance. The player's uniform pants have been colored purple but otherwise the piece remains uncolored. The pin on the reverse points downward and does not swivel this is more of a lapel pin than a pinback. The condition is outstanding particularly given how delicate the piece actually is. An exceptional 19th Century baseball-themed lapel pin.
