Pair of E97 Briggs Lozenge Red Murray cards including a black and white "proof" and a full color "regular" issue. The E97 cards are highly desirable quite difficult to obtain. The "regular" issue example has been graded FAIR 20 by SGC and boasts a rich purple background and eneral wear consistent with the grade but no single flaw to diminish the eye appeal of the card. The "proof" issue is significantly more scarce than the color version and though this example has been graded POOR 10 by SGC the thin paper stock on which these cards were printed make them extremely susceptible to condition flaws. Low-grade examples are common and the rarity drives the desirability of the card. An excellent pair of cards from a desirable issue including a very scarce black and white proof. Two cards total.
