The T212 Obak issues are considered by many prewar collectors to be the most beautiful of all tobacco issues. Some collectors shy away because the player selection is limited to lesser-known PCL and NWL players. In the case of this pair however popular San Francisco native Ping Bodie is included. Bodie hit .275 in nine major league seasons with the White Sox Athletics and Yankees and has quite a following among prewar collectors. Also included is Howard Mundorff ten-season veteran of various minor league clubs including five seasons in the PCL with San Francisco and Oakland and a season in the Northwest League with Spokane. The Bodie card is graded FAIR 20 by SGC due to a diagonal crease across the card. Mundorff is graded VG/EX 50 with very light wear. Two cards total.
